Grand Lodge of Saskatchewan Masonic Scholarships offer a number of scholarships that graduating students can apply for.  Please see Ms. Lapointe for forms or go online to www.saskmasons.ca or you can also email glsask@accesscomm.ca.

Six bursaries in the amount of $1000 will be awarded to graduating students pursuing post-secondary education. The deadline is March 15.  To be eligible you must have an average in grade 11 and 12 of at least 7% in  all subjects.  Please see Ms. Lapointe or go to the scholarships table to pick up an application form.
Grade 10 - 12 (15 - 18 years of age) students if you are interested in having an experience of a life time there is still a chance to register for this one week career development and networking opportunity in Ontario. $40 000 Sasktel A.E. Blakeney Bursary for Post Secondary Entrance Students

$10 000 given out annually for 4 years!
Student Eligibility:  Financial need, high school standing (80% or higher), Saskatchewan resident and be a full-time student in the fall at the U of S, U of R or FNUC.  Preference will be given to those enrolled in Business/Commerce; Administration with major in Marketing or Accounting; Electrical Engineering; Computer Science; or Information Technology.  To apply for this bursary, students must complete an on-line application.  For complete more information please visit their website, http://sasktel.com/about-us/community-involvement/scholarships-bursaries or speak to Ms. Lapointe.  The deadline is March 10, 2010.
The University of Regina entrance scholarships are now available on-line! Go check it out and start working on them today, the deadline is March 15.

The Saskatchewan Safety Council is looking for high school students to join their farm safety PowerPac Team.  Do you ... like to talk to children; like working on your own; have a farm background; and have an interest in promoting safety.  If you then you could earn up to $100 a day.  Please see Ms. Lapointe if you are interested or email her directly at christa.lapointe@htcsd.ca
15th Annual Sears Canadian High School Design Competition!  One of our very own, Marina Ellis, won a category last year.  YOU COULD WIN TOO!  There are a variety of categorizes:  industrial design (delivery vehicle); fashion design (casual shoe); architecture/interior design (bus shelter) and graphic design (logo).  For more information and contest details go to www.dx.org or talk to Mrs. Cornea.  The deadline is March 26, 2010.
Grade 12 students who will be attending a post-secondary college like SAIT or SIAST among many others please pick up an application for the Garfield Weston Awards.  To be eligible you need to have a minimum average of 75% in courses required for your program, a Canadian citizen or permanent resident and plan on entering a diploma or applied degree at a recognized school.  This scholarship is worth HUGE amounts of money so please don't wait to apply.  The deadline is March 23.  You can pick up an application form in room 221 or go on-line to www.garfieldwestonawards.ca.
