Foundation of Teaching Series: Planning for Instruction and Assessment Based on Outcomes
1. Welcome
2. Grounding in the Compelling Why
• Connections to the front and back matter of the SK Curriculum
3. Planning for Outcomes
• Gradual release of responsibility using an outcome wheel (planning structure)
4. Criteria for Success
• Digging into assessment criteria for each outcome• Looking at what assessment tools might support that
5. Instruction
• Sequencing of Instruction• Specific skills and knowledge that might need to be taught
6. Bringing it all together
