Volleyball
Senior Boys Volleyball:
Head Coach: Levi Broda

The Vanier Senior Boys Volleyball team has been at the top of the pack in Moose Jaw and Province under coach Broda's lead for years now. Winning 2 provincial titles and being in the provincial top 5 for the last 6 years, the Vanier Vikings are a force to be reckoned with.
Senior Girls Volleyball:
Current Head Coach: Aly Bell, Lewie Bell, Adrienne Angeles
Time: September-November
The Vanier Senior Girls Volleyball has been a top competitor in Saskatchewan for years. Being coached by Aly, Louis, and Adrienne has made the team much stronger, and connected them on and off the court. In 2023 they won city finals and placed bronze at provincials.
Junior Boys Volleyball

Junior volleyball teams play a crucial role in fostering teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship among young athletes. These teams provide a platform for players to develop their skills, learn the fundamentals of the game, and cultivate a passion for volleyball. Beyond competition, junior volleyball teams promote physical fitness, mental resilience, and camaraderie, shaping well-rounded individuals both on and off the court.

The Vanier Senior Boys Basketball program is designed to allow our athletes to compete in the game that they love. Between regular season games and tournaments, these athletes are constantly improving their game. We hope you decide to be apart of the Vikings!
Senior Girls Basketball:

Time of Year: Late November-end of March
The Vanier Senior Girls Basketball team has been to two consecutive provincial finals, winning one, and 3 successive City Final Championships. The team has had tough schedules and has competed against high ranked 5A teams. The coaches have instilled a good work ethic and teamwork into the team that will continue for years to come.
Junior Boys Basketball:

Time of Year: End of November to Early March
The junior boys basketball program has taught countless Vanier athletes the ins and outs of basketball. With many tournaments, in and out of town, there is no lack of action being a part of the Vanier Vikings.
Junior Girls Basketball:
Head Coach: Miguel Cruz and Niki Chalupiak
Time of Year: End of November - Early March
Description: The Vanier Junior girls have won the City Finals in 2022 and 2023. They participate in various tournaments such as the Junior Rock Tournament and the Swift Current Tournament.
Football
Head coach: Luke Tkatchuk
Time of year: Late August - October
Under the coaching of Ryan Gottselig, and now Luke Tkatchuck, our athletes not only improved their skills but also have been taught valuable life lessons. Although Vanier’s football team has struggled in past years, in the most recent year after going to 4A 9-man we excelled and fought for our chance to go to provinces but unfortunately came short, and placed third in our league.

Vaniers curling teams have excelled in recent years, and in the latest year our boys team placed second at cities, and for two years in a row were third at districts. Both our girls and the mixed teams have come far and made strives in the skill levels, with each doing well in their respective leagues.
Girls Soccer
Head Coach: Daniel Atkins
Time of Year: Beginning of September- End of October
Being coached by Mr Atkins has taught them important teamwork skills and how to have fun together. The team has had some tough matches, and has had to learn on the fly to succeed as a team. Being a member of the team is a fun opportunity to meet new people, and get a lot of laughs during practices and games.

The Vanier Musical for 2024 is "Mama Mia!"

What is outreach?
Outreach is a group of students who help others in need.
What do we do?
- We promote student education, awareness, and participation in social justice issues at the local and global level.
- We come up with fun ways to fund raise to support worthy causes.

Go Karts
Velocity is Vanier's go-kart club taught by Mrs. Jordan and Mr. Atkins. In this club, you find out how go-karts work and race against other schools.
