  • Full Chor Tuesday lunch after the long weekend. Jazz Tuesday at 3:30. Band, check the door for your sectional times
  • If you are missing Hilberg & Berk earrings, come to the office.
  • There will be a Spoons tournament on Wednesday, May 22 at lunch in room 208. The cost for entry will be $2. Follow @DouglasCS10 on instagram to see the prize! All proceeds will go towards Ms. Douglas' Catholic Studies CAP Project!
  • Any football players who did not pick up their discount cards, please see Mr. Gottselig ASAP.
  • 2018-19 Vanier Yearbooks can now be purchased online!  Visit the Friesens’ website to make your purchase.
  • Prom on Friday, May 24 from 7pm - 11pm.
    1. Vanier Students pay $10 pre-sale, $15 at the door. 
    2. Pre-sale will be from Tuesday, May 21 - Friday, May 24 in room 208
    3. There will be a late list which requires you to be prepaid, and you must fill out a form. The form will be with Ms. Douglas when you pre-pay, and it must be submitted by Thursday, May 23 at 3:30.
    4. There will be a limited guest list for other Moose Jaw high school students. They must be pre-paid ($15) and is first come, first serve. When you pre-pay, you will be given a form that will be taken to the office. Guests must be registered by Thurs. May 23 at 3:30 pm.
    5. The vote for Prom King & Queen will be based on your promposal submission. Send your promposal to @VanierSRC on twitter or instagram!  If you have any questions about prom, see Ms. Douglas. Follow @VanierSRC on instagram for more updates!
  • There is a PHCD (Principals of Healthy Child Development) training for front-line leaders or anyone working with children aged 6-12. When?: Saturday, May 25 from 9:00-4:30, Where: Yara Centre, Free of charge. Call the Kinsmen @306-694-4483 to register.
  • Veterinary Medicine for Teens on August 20-23 for students between the ages of 13-16.

  • ****All In-car drivers: please check in with the office first thing in the morning (day of your in-car) to grab a release note for your teacher.****
  • Grade 11 Students:
    • Check Pursue Online for career newsletters, information, and more.
  • Grade 12 Students:
    • Grade 12s, please complete your yearbook surveys by Fri. May 24.  The link to complete the survey is found in Google classroom.
    • Grade 12s, there is Salutatorian nomination forms in the office for you to pick up.  These forms are due back in the office by Friday, May 24.

    • Grad fees ($150) are overdue.  Grad banquet tickets ($32.50 each) is past due. Two additional banquet tickets were released.
    • Check Pursue Online for career newsletters, information, and more.  
    • Interested in police/RCMP, there is a showcase on Thurs. May 23 at 1:30 in Regina.  Check out the poster here.
    • Scholarship Workshop every Tuesday at lunch in Room 130!
    • Grads, please come to the office to let us know your exact height (measurement chart in the back right hand corner in the library) & your plans after high school. 
    •  SCHOLARSHIPS–go to for links, info, & deadline dates.
    • Along with the YWRCC you will want to look into the Career Safety Education (CSE). This is a fantastic opportunity if you are currently on your way to building your resume and wanting to look like a star candidate for your future employers. Now you can receive safety training for FREE! Whether this training is to help you keep first-day awkwardness at bay or further develop your career, you are in the right place. Safety training looks great on resumes and post-secondary applications, as well as scholarship applications! The CES Program is available to all students.
